Autumn Wedding at Athelhampton
We recently supplied china and flowers for the wedding of Dave and Becky at Athelhampton House. A gorgeous day and a lovely intimate family wedding. Do enjoy these photos – the wedding had a subtle “Alice in Wonderland” twist with bright colours in the flowers and a fabulous cupcake wedding cake with little top hats and teacups on – stunning! Dave and Becky look relaxed and happy in these pictures (thanks both for sharing them with us) – obviously a couple in love!

Symondsbury Sizzler!
Well – we’ve been very bad at keeping the site up to date the last few months. To be honest we’ve concentrated more on Twitter and Facebook because, being inherently IT lazy, they are so much quicker to use and we have to do so little thinking to use them! Terrible isn’t it….! If we also used the other social media thingy whatsits as well like Pinterest and….erm…….well … you know….all those other things we keep hearing about but have no idea what they are…….we’d be forever glued to the laptops and would never actually get “out there” doing the stuff we love. Well – that’s our excuse and even though it’s a pretty bad one we’re sticking with it.
So anyway, we’ve been busy through the last few months with all sorts of events from weddings to baby showers to anniversaries and “ladies wot lunches” and even a couple of wakes. Our bunting has been all over the country and back again (thank goodness), our Post Box also had an outing beyond the Dorset borders (dread to think how much the courier charges were for our client – that box is a real Royal Mail cast iron beastie and takes a good strong lad or three to lift it!) and we’ve had lots of orders for tea favours and other bits and bobs. We’ve added some stock to the collection and we’ve lost a few bits along the way as well – some broken, some retired and some just plain lost! C’est la vie.
Here’s just a few photos from a wedding we supplied a few weeks ago. This one is going to be showcased on blog http://lovemydress.net/ in a few weeks time so we won’t say too much but will get back to you with the link – we’re SO looking forward to seeing the professional photos!! These photos were taken whilst we were in the process of setting up the marquee and catering tent (on a very hot day!).
