Swanage Steam Railway 19th & 20th March
This weekend is the first of Swanage Railway‘s open events starting with a suite of open venues across Purbeck celebrating the “Railway at Work”
Its going to be a beautiful sunny weekend so this seems a great vintage day out if you’re stuck for something to do – or want somewhere interesting to visit. More information here…
Mangerton Mill Vintage Weekend – Oct 9th &10th
Mangerton Mill has a vintage weekend on the 9th and 10th October – very lovely for a day out we think. This will be a nice small rally with some stationary steam engines and a few classic cars and motorbikes based at a working 17th century mill with the vintage bygones museum and a tea room.
Also expect to see vintage tractors and model boats on the lake (subject to availability!) The craft shops are open and there will be an accordion band and apple juice making demonstration. What an eclectic mix!
