Vintage Flowers
Spring is the cheeriest and brightest of all the seasons – and nothing demonstrates it more than vintage spring flowers. Not only are old fashioned flowers more likely to smell gorgeous but they also look fabulous and we love using them!
We tend to choose a very eclectic mix of traditional cottage garden plants when we’re supplying flowers for venue dressing – and this goes perfectly with our odd collection of flower vases and containers…
We like to use old teapots and jugs that have imperfections together with beautiful glass jugs and bowls that really show off the flowers in all their glory.
Our table flowers are often simple and loose in character rather than formal affairs – not very “high street florist” but more blousy and traditional in nature – perfect for informal settings at home or for vintage events where primped feels out of place. You can buy flowers from £11 each including hire of the vase.
The varieties we’ve chosen for recent events include hydrangea, chrysanthemum, statice, daffodils, ranunculus and traditional roses. We prefer to use flowers that are local to the uk (and Dorset grown blooms in summer when we can get them).
Browse through our pictures of these flowers which we snapped before they went go out to an event (click on them for larger pictures) and contact us HERE if you’d like us to quote for your wedding flowers, party or celebration flowers to hire.
