Vintage Hen Party

When chief bridesmaid Victoria told us she was planning Melanie’s Hen Party to provide afternoon tea at the old-fashioned Church Hall in Verwood we were delighted to help out! This afternoon tea was perfect for Melanie plus friends and mums to get together and have some pampering time before going out for a hen party evening on the town.

The ladies had worked hard on making loadsĀ of bunting for the wedding which is in three weeks time – they got to work decorating the hall as soon as we arrived – and we used a few of the church hall’s willow pattern plates mixed in with vintage china and tablecloths hired from Vintage Dorset to make a really beautiful spread. Melanie’s flowers completed the scene perfectly! Sandwiches came from Sorrell’s in Wimborne, with cakes from Country Markets and our old favourite Sgt Bun for his gorgeous scones!
