Today we thought we would share some photos from a recent 60th birthday party we supplied. Our china, bunting, beautiful vintage water jugs and tablecloths went off to the gorgeous Burgate Farmhouse in the New Forest for a surprise party (what a lovely way to spend your birthday!).
The day was fine, the musical entertainment looked FAB and the pizza van was a winner! We think our bunting looks lovely amongst the trees (thank goodness it didn’t rain!). Many thanks to Rachel for the photos.
Well – our traditional afternoon tea event at The Thimble Inn Piddlehinton near Dorchester went down a storm! We had lots of people come along to indulge – a great way to spend a January afternoon. The pub was transformed into a little tea room with lots of bunting, vintage floral tablecloths, vintage china, lots of flowers and, of course, yummy sandwiches and cakes all handmade on site by chef Stuart (we just loved the eclairs and the Viennese Whirls!). It’s lovely to do something different occasionally and maybe we’ll do it again in the summer when we can also get the vintage water jugs out and offer Pimm’s …….! Mmmmm
Here’s a few pictures from the day – many thanks to George Sutton (GSPhotoDorset) for his time and effort over the photos!
……..still thinking about Pimm’s………
