Hearts for Valentine’s
To celebrate good old fashioned romance and invite everyone along to the Valentine’s Fayre at the Dorset County Museum in Dorchester on the 13th February the vintage and hand-made traders organising this event have been making beautiful shabby chic and vintage hand made hearts to give away for free.
The tiny fabric hearts can be found at Dorset County Museum and will also be available in the town centre leading up to the Fayre. Coming along to the FREE Valentine’s Fayre also gives you entry to a free prize draw for a Romantic Hamper of goodies with gifts that say “I love you” in all kinds of old fashioned ways.
The hearts and information about the Fayre will be given out on 5th February in Dorchester town centre by Linda dressed as the Queen of Hearts (can’t resist a big frock) and town crier Alistair Chisholm More hearts are available on 12th February from Johanna Wolff and her talented musicians and dotted around the town all over the place!
We’ve been gathering the hearts from traders who are coming along to the Fayre and have been busy sewing and crafting them – including from Rubyrockcake, Yummy Mummy Parties, Every Cloud Boutique, Maria, Sabina, Goodey-Goodey, A J Photographic, Alice Brock Jewellery Raggy Rat Johanna Wolff, Barbara Pugh and Vintage Dorset . Look out for them in Dorchester, follow us on Facebook or come along to the Fayre to see some first hand romance!
