Gorgeous old teacups

We’ve been shopping again. This time to the lovely Shepton Mallet Flea Market which was on last weekend.

As ever, we came away with some must-have items (mostly broken things for Steve to mend) together with some beautiful vintage crockery for our china hire, nostalgic battered old travelling trunks which make great atmospheric props and once steve’s strengthened them will be fab for occasional seating at parties (hire for £5 each),some lovely vintage fabrics for tablecloths and trimmings and a world war 1 camping bed. I’m not sure what Steve plans for this, but it may come in handy if he’s been out with the squaddy’s!

The crockery includes this superb Claremont bone china cup and saucer, a beautiful blue Spode duet and a Crown Devon green and gold cup.
